Main Editing Area

This is where your page is displayed and/or edited.

When in edit mode all editable sections will be outlined in pale green dashed lines. Note that most sites support only one editable sections, additional sections being added where a page layout specifically requires it or where the site includes functionality such as embedded database content e.g. product databases etc.

To start editing just position your mouse cursor over one of the editable areas and click. This will activate a text cursor if over a piece of text or will highlight an object such as a table or image if that is selected.

To move between editable sections click on the desired section using your mouse. Pressing Tab simply inserts a Tab character.

The main editing area will automatically wrap text and, when the content is larger than the visible area, will automatically include scroll bars.
