Folders Panel

The folders panel displays a list of the folders and sub-folders in your web site.

The server name of the site you are editing appears at the top of the folders panel.

Folders are displayed in an expandable tree format with a '+' symbol against folders that can be expanded and a '-' symbol against those which can be collapsed. Click on these symbols to expand or collapse the corresponding folder.

To view the contents of a folder click on the folder symbol. It's contents will be displayed in the files panel.

To create a new folder right click on a white space area in the folders panel and select new. You will be prompted for the name of your new folder.

To rename, copy or delete a folder right click on it and select the corresponding action. You will be prompted for the new name and/or confirmation before a folder is deleted.

When a folder is deleted it is actually moved to a folder called recycled. This will automatically be created if it does not already exist.

To move a folder around use the rename function e.g. to move a folder from '/about' to '/info/about' rename it and enter '/info/about' - drag and drop is not yet supported in the folders panel.
