We provide you with a content managed site to a template or background or layout of your choice. You will have the ability to edit pages yourself and to select the content to sell on each page by artist, genre etc. The web page editor provides simple tools that can be used by anyone who has used basic PC software, for example 'Word'.

How it works

Once your website is set up and running you can go in at any time and modify the site editorial content without fear of breaking key functionality or disturbing layout and design. We do this by separating the design control from the editorial content and providing content editing tools as a web application. With no knowledge of web programming or design expertise your editors can make changes to the text and (depending upon the context) possibly graphical content of the site. They can even add complete new pages and areas to the site, whilst retaining a consistent look and feel across the whole site.

Editable wap site

This is a bolt-on option to the editable website. Your web site is made available as a wap site is optimised for the mobile browser which enables it to be viewed on most mobile handsets. The site will follow the layout and contain the same content as the web site. You will have the ability to create different views of the same page when viewed on a mobile browser and on a PC. If you wish you can override the content of a particular page e.g. to simplify the wap version.

If you already have a website you can simply use the web component of this tool to edit the wap site. Your customers will use your existing website from their PC and our wap site from their phone.

The mobile site can be used for purchases directly from the mobile phone using mobile payment systems provided by our e-commerce plug-in.

The web on the mobile

More people are starting to surf the web from their mobile phones. This means that websites have to made which can be easily viewed on mobile phones and PDA's. This requires a different approach than design of web sites for a computer. In addition to some obvious limitations, in terms of size and bandwidth, of a mobile browser, people also use mobile internet sites for different reasons than the regular internet. People 'on the move' have very different requirements than someone sitting at a desk. They typically are looking for something specific such as things they can download.

New opportunities

With a mobile phone, it is easier to enable secure downloads that have forward protection than with a PC. The mobile internet also gives you access to a large group of people who you would not normally have access to, such as young people who cannot afford a PC of their own but can afford a mobile phone with a web browser. Good mobile web design is about looking at the fundamental reasons why the site will be viewed on a mobile browser and addressing all of the opportunities and issues that arise out of this kind of web implementation.

Content management

Set up and manage the work flow. Content management tools can include a work flow based approval system allowing modified and new pages to be checked by your management staff before they are published to the live site.
